History
In the early days of a fine friendship, two young fellows named Scott and Ron set off on a fine, dusty adventure upon their sturdy gravel bicycles, winding through hills and countryside with a youthful vigor that sent pebbles flying in their wake.
The day was splendid, the air crisp, and they rode with a zest that turned heads, pausing only to quench their thirst with ales and cocktails at each little tavern along the road, savoring hearty foods and sharing tales that grew grander with each stop. By evening’s end, as the sun dipped below the hills, they clinked their mugs with a merry vow to make this jaunt a yearly affair. And thus began “The Grizzler” a humble tradition that, as decades passed, drew first dozens, then hundreds of jovial riders who gathered to pedal, sip, and feast in their honor.
Over a century hence, The Grizzler remains, a living testament to a day of laughter and wheels that never stopped spinning.
